What is Promoguy?
Promoguy is a sports betting community focused specifically on positive expected value (+EV) plays, promotions, and boosts rather than general picks. Membership renews at $55 a month, run by a creator who calls himself Promo Guy and describes specializing in +EV plays.
Members get curated +EV play alerts, sportsbook boosts and promos, same-game parlay (SGP) picks, and coverage across nine major sportsbooks including ESPN BET, Bet365, BetRivers, MGM, Fanatics, DraftKings, FanDuel, Caesars, and PrizePicks.
Reviewers describe real impact on their approach to betting. Jer said joining "changed my life and taught me more than I could ever imagine related to sports gambling," while Shefty called it the "best +EV discord on the market." Sean Fox praised the product and community broadly.
One reviewer said the group posts too few plays for certain bet types and described the Discord chat itself as toxic, a useful counterpoint on community tone even where the picks are well-regarded. As with any sports betting service, +EV framing describes a mathematical edge over time, not a guarantee of winning any individual bet. This suits bettors who specifically want a systematic +EV and promo-hunting approach across many sportsbooks, but it may not suit anyone sensitive to a reportedly contentious chat environment.
Members weighing this up usually also look at Top Sports Debate (OGs) (#46, $25.00 / week, 4.8★), FLIPPBETTS (#53, $25.00 / month, 5.0★) and KnightLocks (#45, $49.99 / month, 4.7★).
